Miss Emma has years of experience working with the Bright Light team and now as our transitional teacher, she works with all of the children in the cooperative.

Miss Emma is entering her senior year at Pitt. She is working on getting her bachelor’s degree in social work.

Ms. Doyle a certified teacher & formerly Bright Light’s Pre-K teacher & director has over a decade of experience working with young children under her belt. Her creativity and gentle nature puts all the children she cares for at ease. Ms. Doyle has been working with the Bright Light staff since 2020.

Hiring Requirements for Coati Staff:

All Coati staff are required to pass all state & federal childcare clearances, pass a physical, complete mandated reporter training as well as pediatric first aid & cpr to work with any of our children. In addition, new staff have hours of on-site training with the teacher or director prior to being left alone with children.

Miss Deja has been working with the Bright Light families since 2017. She’s our infant & toddler guru, having previously supervised both classrooms. Her love of the children shows in everything she does.
